Who We Are

Prairie Brew Supply operates prairiebrewsupply.ca and the Prairie Brew Supply Quick Order mobile app. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you request access, use our store or app, place orders, or contact us. For privacy questions, contact kevin@prairiebrewsupply.ca.

Information We Collect

We collect the name, company name, email address, and phone number you provide when requesting app access or contacting us. Customer accounts and orders may also include billing or delivery addresses, customer identifiers, products, quantities, order history, and preferred-product selections.

To protect app sign-in, we process a random installation identifier or its hashed equivalent, email sign-in verification information, and session credentials. The app stores its sign-in credentials in the device's secure storage. Our website and service providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and security logs, to operate and protect the service.

The app does not collect card numbers or bank-account credentials. Payment is arranged outside the app.

How We Use Information

We use information to review and approve access requests, verify sign-in, maintain customer accounts, show customer-specific preferred products, process and fulfill orders, communicate about access and orders, provide customer support, prevent misuse, and maintain accounting and legally required records. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Where Information Is Processed And Shared

Customer and order information is processed through our WordPress/WooCommerce website. Relevant customer, invoice, and transaction information is also handled in QuickBooks for bookkeeping. Hosting, email-delivery, security, backup, and other operational providers may process information needed to deliver their services. We share information only as necessary for these purposes, to fulfill legal obligations, or as you authorize.

Cookies And Device Permissions

Our website uses cookies and similar storage for sign-in, shopping-cart functions, and account preferences. You can manage cookies in your browser; disabling necessary cookies may prevent some store features from working.

The iOS app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, or microphone. Its installation identifier is used for sign-in security, not advertising or cross-company tracking.

Security

The app communicates with the website using HTTPS and stores session credentials in secure device storage. App access requires approval. Email sign-in links are single-use and expire after 48 hours; app sessions expire after 90 days unless revoked earlier. Signing out revokes that device's app session. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Do not share your sign-in links or credentials.

Retention And Account Deletion

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, support orders, protect our systems, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it is held; contact us for details about your records.

In the app, open Account and choose Request Account Deletion, or email kevin@prairiebrewsupply.ca. You must verify your request by email before we remove your account. We will complete verified account-deletion requests within 14 days, removing the website customer account, app access, and associated preferred-product information. We may retain transaction, tax, bookkeeping, security, or other records where legally required or reasonably necessary. Account deletion does not automatically erase legally required records held in WooCommerce or QuickBooks. Backup copies may remain until replaced or expired through the backup cycle and are not used to restore active access after deletion.

Your Choices

Contact kevin@prairiebrewsupply.ca to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, ask about retention, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some information is necessary to provide access and fulfill orders; withdrawing consent or deleting your account may prevent continued use of those services.
